The CCADT would not be possible without the outstanding commitment of our volunteers.  Our leadership team gives endless hours of strategizing, fundraising, and providing educational input to ensure our communities become resilient to disasters.

Jeff Kermode,
Board Chair

Jeff is a business owner - JJK Group, Inc. His past positions include being the Chief of Police in Tehachapi, CA and afterward, the interim Chief for the Bear Valley Police Department.  He was involved in the development of CCADT's Kern County division and still serves as the public information officer.

Naomi E. Tobias
President & CEO

Naomi is the founder of CCADT.  Since 2007, she has lead efforts in California's central valley to educate on disaster preparedness for animals.  In 2011, she founded the CCADT which assists emergency responders with displaced animals during disasters.

Debi Geary
Vice-President

Debi is CCADT's Kern County Branch Director. In 2017,  Debi was instrumental in developing the seventh county of the Central California Animal Disaster Team.  For the last 7 years, she has served as an appointed Commissioner on the Kern County Animal Services Commission.

Mary Souders

Mary joined CCADT in its infancy in 2012 and has deployed to dozens of natural disasters with the team.  She trained over 100 volunteers and has developed policies and procedures.  She is employed by the law offices of McCormick Barstow, LLP

Carol DeBellis
Chief Financial Officer

Carol DeBellis is the SVP Human Resources for Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), the largest disposition provider and cybersecurity-focused hardware destruction company in the USA. Carol has decades of nonprofit board experience including 10 years as Chief Operation Officer for the Trauma Intervention Program of Fresno County and Board President for Valley Animal Center a local no kill animal shelter.

Amy Dobrinin
Director

Amy retired from Fresno County as an Environmental Health Specialist. She provided coordination and assistance with the county's  Animal Control vendor to ensure the proper enforcement of Animal Control regulations and laws and established policies for the consistent enforcement throughout all vendor operational activities
